Ligers "Kick That"; Pop Collars in Celebration

In the frigid evening air of fucking Alaska, er, Tampa, the Ligers and I'd Kick That squared off in the early game on Frozen Tundra A. The cold couldn't put a damper on the smell of vinegar wafting through the air though as the "preppy" theme for the game produced some argyle, quite a bit of khaki, and a whole lot of douche-tastic popped-collar action. Apparently wanting to spend as little time as possible outside, both teams decided it'd be best to get the game over with in about 25 minutes.
Liger David started the "quick" trend by making fast work of his opponent in the chug off, giving the Ligers home field. Except for the bottom of the first inning when the Ligers managed a few base-runners, the first 3.5 innings were boring as hell and took all of 15 minutes. Mercifully, in the bottom of the 4th inning Mike Huffman kicked a line shot to right field that the defense just couldn't handle. While IKT tried to pick their pants up off the ground, Mike made his way to 3rd with some expert base-running. Karen stepped up to kick next and laid down a perfect sacrifice bunt, bringing in Mike and giving the Ligers the only run they'd need to win the game. The Liger defense, which allowed only two or three base-runners in the game, made quick work of IKT in the top of the fifth to secure the victory.

Oh and Flo, if we play you again, please leave your toys at home. These do not belong in the handshake line...ever.

Sorry, not my toy. Can't be blamed for that one. Also, we had at least 4 or 5 baserunners not just 2or 3 like you said. We actually had 2 people reach 3rd but could never get the clutch kick we needed to push across a run.

That, sir, is a damn fine sentence. Nice writeup!
