Anita wrote up this e-mail and I'm sure some of you have received it, but we are asking for your support in anyway you can! We would greatly appreciate it, and it's for a good cause!
We are also needing a name for our team, that's walking, we would love suggestions and I know they are out there. Anita came up with "Ballers for Boobies," but we aren't totally sold on it, what else do you have?? Please comment! Thank You for your attention! We will also be coordinating some fundraisers at the games and whatnot so we will keep you posted as to what they will be! :)
Hey, fellow kickballers!! So I know we all have fun getting together once a week to play kickball. How about we do something important together, too, like help end breast cancer? I'm putting together a team to walk in the Susan G. Komen 3-day for the Cure and I'm hoping you'll join me!You may be thinking, "Why should I?", but here’s a better question - Why shouldn't you?! Without a cure, an estimated 25 million people around the world will be diagnosed with breast cancer - and 10 million could die over the next 25 years. This is our opportunity to do something about it. Together, we can help save lives! The event will take place in Tampa on October 29-31. The net proceeds from the Komen 3-day for the Cure will support breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment through Susan G. Komen for the Cure. So, how does it all work? Basically, you have to raise $2,300 dollars in order to participate. It sounds like a lot of money but if you think about all of your friends, co-workers, family, distant family, college friends, all of your Mom’s friends (because you just know Mom will be so proud of you that she’ll be happy to help), everyone you know on facebook, etc… it really won’t be hard at all. Once you register, you actually have your own fundraising website for people to donate on-line so it’s super easy!! Plus, we can do a fun fundraiser like a carwash or something. As for the actual event, you walk about 20 miles each day for 3 days. At the end of the day, you chill out at the camp site that includes hot meals, showers, entertainment, the 3-Day CafĂ©, and cute little two-person tents for sleeping! So far Anita and Maria are on board and can answer any questions you may have so hit us up on Facebook or you can go to www.the3day.org. So, whether you want to walk the 60 miles in 3 days, or just make a donation, the important thing is that you are joining us in the global movement to end breast cancer and for that, we thank you. Remember, this event is not just for girls! I’m pretty sure there are some boys out there who love boobs, too, and might just be man enough to wear Pink, so don’t be shy guys!!
Think Pink, because everyone deserves a lifetime!

Come on guys really? No one has a team name suggestion? or no one is reading my post?
Too pink, hurts eyes, can't read :(
There Bull, is that better, I am kinda dissappointed with the feedback. Thanks though.
Ah so that's what it says!! Sadly I'm not so good with coming up with witty names. All I got is "Don't support breast cancer, end it!" but that's more of a slogan, not a name. However, don't worry! I'll be more then happy to help with fundraising or anything else.
i think it's awesome you're doing this (sorry don't read the blog all that much). i did the 2 day and can help you with the fundraising if you want. team names, um i'm not the most creative. one i thought was really cute were boo bees - dress in a bee halloween costume, maybe incorporate some pink in there.
