Pick Me Up only had 9 players (5 guys, 4 girls).
For 4 innings I played one of my best defensive games... and even scored the Ligers' only run.
With a runner on 1st in the top of the 5th (no outs), I dropped a ball while diving for a bunt/blooper between home and first. The ball rolls out of play... and now there are runners at 2nd and 3rd with no outs. A few hits later, we're down 3-1.
It was only my 2nd drop in 5 seasons. I lost us the game, and let all the Ligers down.
I'm very sorry, my friends.

You should follow Shocker Rule #5 - For each earned run you allowed, you must buy each of your teammates a beer.
The recipe for any good team's defeat, complacency. We had the lead from the first inning and let our guard down. Redemption next week.

hey I was corrected by Nate last night..."Beer-Nutting it" is only when you blow the lead in the last inning...ala RRR 2 weeks ago!
