I say we bring it back. Every team votes for 1 guy and 1 girl on their team. Split the teams by conference. Each team would have 12 players (6 teams x 2 for you math whizzes)...not sure when we could do it, but would be pretty sweet. Would be high scoring too with 5-6 girls in the field...
Winner would get a $5 Subway GC, compliments of Ruben.

this also helps keep my contributor pic somewhat safe again for a couple weeks...
I'd say pick 2 guys and 1 girl from each team...you play with almost twice as many guys in a typical fielding setup anyways (and Ruben and Mikey can continue to coexist!).
You can do line-changes each inning for 5 of the guys and the captain can choose 2 guys to play all game (or if you wanna go all red-rockets, I'm sure there's a way to give everyone equal playing time).
I'm sure we can make it happen.
The all-stars should come out onto the field doing a dance routine (a la the NBA), and the spectators can shower them with Subway Points.
Are SWP even tangible? Or are they on a card or something?
oh and naturally there'd have to be some sort of gambling on this game as well...right now I'm picking the Shenanigans Division
SWP are on a card shaped like a sammich.
Maybe we can find some old Subway stamps. Or just get subway cards loaded with .01 balances...Make it rain!
18 per team isn't bad, either. Just play like 7 innings so everyone gets some PT.
Could keep track of the winner with the "Kickball History"
Side bets are encouraged. SWP side bets...free cookies yall!
Just let me know when the game is so that I can clear out my schedule to play.
At least you'll be on the same team as that Honey Badger girl, Litman. So it'll be harder to send her to the hospital.
let's see, i have 274 points, a free sub is 70 points, thats about four free subs, the average cost is lets say $5.75 no tax, 3.91 subs times $5.75 equals $22.51 divided by 274 points brings us to a value per point of 8 cents. these are my conservative estimates.
Can I come out of retirement if I get voted on a team?
I still have the gently used Boston Market GC...
