I know this is way out in the future, but just wanted to put it out there. As someone on his way to AlcoVegas on October 7th to rep Bayshore at The Kickball Games, what can we do about that pesky game with the defending tourney champs scheduled for that night?
I'm just hoping we don't have to take a forfeit since we are doing something kickball related.
I thought the defending tourney champs were going to Vegas too? Oh....wait... they're not going to Vegas... I guess this will remind the Jammers that Ballics will be Fabulous Las Vegas and they'll still be trying to get another championship to go to...Vegas?

Kyle... rumor has it that some people going to Vegas aren't leaving until Friday morning. That being said, ToeJammers would soberly beat you guys anyway that week. So you might as well forfeit.
And BnD guy... what's your definition of "blows?" Are you saying the teams in Conference B are shitty talent-wise, or shitty fun-wise. If it's the former, then you should be happy that you can dominate the conference. If it's the latter, then it sounds like the pot and kettle situation. Which is ironic since BnD does wear black.
I count at least 10 ballics flying out on Thursday and more will probably join. I'm not saying we will or won't lose, but as it is we only get 8 games and a tourney.
I either need to get my $9 of kickball in or I'm going to have to recycle another trash beer.
You do have a point... and that does kinda suck. Guess that's the sacrifice you make for being a baller on a team luckily enough to earn the right to attend Vegas. And for not having to patience to wait until Friday to buy hookers.

Yea, I'll be there. It's USF Day at the Rays. Going with a group through the Alumni Association, or some crap like that. I'll definitely be meeting up with you guys for the tailgate shenanigans before the game.
May I ask what the process was? Seems like the schedule is the same except that Brown Chicken Brown Cow was switched with Off Constantly. Can't remember exactly but thats the way it seems.
Each captain gave her the top 3 teams they wanted to play. She started with mutual ones then first choices. Every team that responded got at least their first selection. So, talk to your captain Flo.

I could care less about the regular season and i'm glad you think we don't like to have fun. I'm also really glad you like to keep bringing up the reputation of our team from 3 years ago. Since I've been on the team (3 seasons?) we've had 2 bad encounters I can think of. One was with the pink team when a kid thought he was fucking ray lewis and ran over asshole catcher.... which was pretty funny actually, and the other I won't talk about because it will probably upset anyone from superbad.... and that kid is no longer on our team.
so ya, i would much rather play the yellow team, or red team than the shitty one's we have on the schedule. we actually do have fun playing them and they're good.

All of that being said, you do make some very good points. It's unfair for me or anyone else to keep a reputation alive from over a year ago. Teams change and thus their stigma should also.
Phil just joined your squad, and he's one hell of a player and a good guy. So dominate that B conference and I'm sure you'll get the yellow team in week 8.
It sucks that in just one year we went from playing ten teams in the regular season to eight.
But you'll also probably get that blue team in round one of the playoffs (since we're going to suck). Feel free to run up the score.

I think someone on SoulGlo paid you off, cause that's the only way they think they can beat us... Since hmmm we are going to Vegas and they are not.... Kinda sad when you really think about it.. But I digress... That week was initially the bye week correct???? Thought that was because of the Vegas Tourney.. Anywhoooo... BnD.. Once ballics are confirmed as participants (through the official WAKA powers that be) I will make arrangements for the game to be made up. We may need to do a double header one night and set up a 5th field.. will figure something out...
Jaime, The 'Ballics are 100% confirmed as participants in the Founder's Cup in Vegas! That week did used to be a Bye week and now it is one of our 8 regular season games. The 'Ballics would appreciate being able to make up the game we're missing, especially since we're representing WAKA in Vegas. We look forward to hearing how this can be arranged.
Random BnD Guy, I think you definitely have fun people on your team! Glad to hear you guys are ready for the stigma to fade away. I hope you guys come out to lots of events, that we all get to play some flip cup with you at MacD's, and hope to see you guys get involved throughout the season. In fact...I hear Jaime is looking for some fun people for the Social Committee this season and a few more for field set-up. Just a thought. I look forward to BnD's Crystal Pitcher run this season!
Jammers, I can't imagine you guys would want to lose out on a game this season also. How about some support for coordinating a make-up game???
