Fowler - Out of the gray gloom, a roar is building. The countdown clock is ticking. 9 hours till kickoff of a high-end collision with conference and tournament implications up for grabs. Tonight it's the Shockers vs. Superbad.

Fowler - Chugoff 9 hours away and the fans here are stoked for a huge matchup between the Shockers & Superbad. This is part of a huge Saturday slate where it's the Beer Olympics, along with Balls N Dolls vs. Off Constantly. Alongside Desmond Howard, Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso; I'm Chris Fowler. Let's begin with your Upset Alerts.
Herbstreit - Lookout for Brown Chicken Brown Cow today. They've been erratic but can score. I like them to pull the upset.
Corso - I think Team Fabulous puts in a great effort today after losing 3 straight games and get the upset over WakaShame; who will be in shame tonight.
Desmond - I'd Kick That has deceptional speed. Look for them to pull the upset over Pick Me Up and get back into the Conference B race tonight.
Fowler - On the Slate today, Balls N Dolls vs. Off Constantly.
Corso - These Defenses have major concerns tonight. Off Constantly has outscored opponents 21-6 while Balls N Dolls is outscoring opponents 48-14. All the signs point towards a big win. Balls N Dolls has the better athletes and is the more experienced team. Balls N Dolls win by 7+ runs.
Herbstreit - I was going to take Off Constantly here but I broke down film of them and they look like an Elementary School team. They are slow. The Balls N Dolls defense right now is too good. All bets are off against them. I'm picking Balls N Dolls here.
Desmond - I've been impressed with Off Constantly this season. Tonight they have a defensive game plan to knock the shine out of the Balls N Dolls offense.
Fowler - Now for everyone's favorite game, The Beer Olympics. Make sure you are out there early for the special 6:30 Chug Off time.
Herbstreit - What was I thinking about picking Thee Beer Nuts the past couple of weeks. Man they are awful. No consistency out of them yet and they have to learn from their mistakes. For the Ligers it's getting back after a tough game last week, ready to make some plays, avoid mistakes and make good decisions. I think the Ligers win both the game and the Olympics but Thee Beer Nuts comes out shooting.
Desmond - I want to see how both of these teams respond tonight. Their performances on the field have been atrocious. I think both teams will win several Olympic events putting pressure on the other team's defense with extra advantages for that inning. Which team will capitalize on those advantages? I think Thee Beer Nuts with some veteran additions to their team will take the most of their advantages and win both the game and Olympics.
Corso - I give you two a Good Pick and a double NOT SO FAST MY FRIENDS! The Beer Nuts are really hard to beat in the Olympics events but it's not impossible. However it's on the field where the Ligers have the edge, their defense will corral and contain Thee Beer Nuts tonight. This is a split pick; Thee Beer Nuts win the Olympics while the Ligers win the game.
Fowler - Now for our showdown game. This is a matchup that hasn't been played in 3 seasons. Both teams are looking forward to this one tonight. The toughest test of the season for both The Shockers & Superbad.
Desmond - Do not count Superbad out of any game. They are a team to be reckoned with. I like the Superbad Defense to control this game. Looks for Superbad to come out early put runs on the board and pressure on the Shockers. In the end Superbad prevails.
Herbstreit - This is going to be a good one. Nobody is giving the Shockers a chance in this game. Backed into a corner and this is where the Shockers can take some chances. Think about the athletic ability of their team. They can go into this game, throw havoc to the win, take some chances and let's find out how good Superbad really is because Superbad is off to a great start so far. The Shockers D is essential and has to step up tonight. I like the Shockers to win this game.
Corso - These teams will both step up their defenses tonight. Look for a mistake free game on both sides. Superbad is unbeaten because of their defense and pitching but that will get tested tonight. The Shockers are coming along offensively and I think that continues tonight. Superbad will play well, but not well enough. Shockers upset them but it's close, real close. Give me the foam finger, Go Shockers!!!
