Most of you should have received an email this weekend from Johnny at GOKickball. Our meet and greet will be held Thursday, February 3rd at Yard of Ale at 7pm. This will also be the captains meeting, which I assume will take place upstairs in their VIP section.
Unlike WAKA's inefficient system, the captains meeting will be for captains (or team representatives) only. This way we can quickly vote on a few things, listen to the "don't be stupid" speech and get the Hell out of there.
From 7pm to 9pm Yard of Ale will have $10 all you can drink Abita beers. So make sure to get there on time to take advantage of this. I'd guess 95% of the league already knows each other, but it's been a long off-season. Many of you probably gained some weight so it'll be nice to see everyone again (LOL... haha... j/k?).
It's also interesting to note that WAKA's captain's meeting takes place at the same time across the street at MacDinton's. So if you still have the "Revolution Itch," we can probably head over there when we're good and drunk and give hugs to MLoop, Korb, Ty and whoever else is there. Technically, MLoop still owes Brie a beer for the Kegger Human Resource incident last season (see our list of grievances).
