Reece - Good morning kickball fans. It will be fun, it will be warm, and it will be intense. Just another night in GoKickball. The Alcoballics and Superbad are set to collide and Gameday is getting you ready for an explosion.

Reece - Kickoff 11 hours away and the fans here are stoked for several early season big time matchups. Are the Ligers for real? Which team can rebound and avoid the dreaded 0-2 start, Shockers or Growlers? Which team takes the inside track at the regular season title, Alcoballics or Superbad? Alongside Dick Vitale, Digger Phelps and Jay Bilas; I'm Reece Davis. Let's begin with your Upset Alerts.
Bilas - Bunt Chasers needs this win more than Thee Beer Nuts does. Bunt Chasers are going to do a good job on defense and get the upset tonight, for their only win of the year.
Vitale - ARE YOU SERIOUS JAY! I'd like to see Off Constantly play a defender down each time they score a run tonight. That way Drunk Again... has as chance for the upset when there are only 2 defenders on the field.
Reece - Now we will debut a new segment on Gameday. Let's go over to Erin Andrews where she will talk to coaches each week.
Erin - Thanks Reece. Shockers Captain Rob is joining me now. First let me ask you about the loss last week. What’s your message to your team as you want them to move on because they don't have time to worry about last week?
Rob - That's right Erin, it's moving on. Losses happen and we will build on last week’s game. What's the next best thing we can do and that is come and prepare for the Growlers. I'm proud of our teams response for tonight’s game. A great intensity and great attitude.
Erin - Whether it's on or off the field, what do you think your team’s strength is?
Rob - I think it's Resiliency. There are some unbelievable qualities that this team has; this team’s a fighting team, it’s a resilient team. I think they are a great group of players with outstanding leaders. Our new players are extremely talented. I think we will keep getting better as the season goes on and be back to Shocker form quickly.
Erin - What are the keys for your team tonight?
Rob - We have great respect for the Growlers and have had some outstanding games against them. We respect that they really play hard and play together. This will be a game where we have to get more into a consistent flow of the game. Our strength is defense and we have to do that better than them tonight.
Reece - Let's crank up our Thursday Selections with Ligers vs. Homebase Hero's.
Digger - I think Ligers win this. They have to go after Homebase Hero's which struggled on Defense last week. Ligers put runs on the board early for the win.
Vitale - Can Homebase Hero's defend anymore? They looked like a bunch of elementary school kids allowing 9 runs last week. This new Liger style of play was very efficient in week 1 and the players seem to have bought into it. They were lead by a Sensational pitching performance last week which is why I think they can make a run to the final four. I got Ligernation.
Bilas - Homebase Hero's has been struggling defensively but it's only week 1. Look for them to improve on that tonight. I think their offense can really bother the Ligers defense tonight. Homebase Hero's wins.
Reece - Coach Bob Knight says the measure of a team is how well you perform in the regular season. If either the Growlers or the Shockers want to win the regular season title, this is a must win game and they would have still have some work to do. Some insight on today's game.
Bilas - The Growlers Achilles heel the last several seasons has been the Shockers. The Shockers are 3-0 in their last 3 meetings, winning by a combined score of 9-3 over the Growlers. Shockers get back on the winning track tonight.
Vitale - Well if you score runs, play smart, and defend well; that's a formula for success. Neither team did that last week and ended up losing their matchups. The Growlers are a good defensive team that can pressure you on offense. Look for the Shockers offensive struggles to continue tonight. Growlers win this one but it won't be easy.
Digger - It will be a struggle for both teams. This is the day the Shockers defense and offense shows up. The game will be a low scoring game. As Jay touched on, the Shockers own the Growlers recently. Look for that to continue tonight.
Reece - Now for our game of the week. Superbad vs. Alcoballics. Both teams will be tested tonight with a significant challenge.
Bilas - The key is mistakes. Who can make the fewest mistakes? I think that even 1 mistake tonight could be the difference in this game. I think Superbad win the game and it's going to be intense.
Digger - I have Superbad tonight. They are an outstanding defensive team with the better pitcher. I really think it comes down the pitching matchup tonight.
Vitale - Well I'll tell you Reece, a significant factor in the game tonight is PAYBACK Baby! The Alcoballics were flat out embarrassed last season with a 7-0 defeat to Superbad. They will use that fuel their fire tonight. Where’s my hat? Can you tell these Alcoballics fans are excited for this game? It's 1-2-3-...
