Did Nate eject anyone?

Nate Dawg said...

Nope, no one tried to fight me...thought about ejecting Drew just for the hell of it but then I thought he had enough on his plate with the Reds losing...

Whole team? really...

Over simplification, my apologies. I'll edit.

it's just sad that that's what you took out of that game. yeah those moments sucked, and it will be corrected, but there was some fun had... At least on our side.

Ligers had fun too. Except for maybe our 3rd baseman who is still in the hospital.

After reffing your game a couple weeks ago and bearing the brunt of it and then hearing it last night too, that's what I got out of it. I'm sorry, I know it's not your whole team, it's just frustrating. I wish the game had been more fun for me, I love Jello & pudding shots.

Not that there's any excuse for arguing calls, but I do have to say it is stressful when we try to do random, and the other team doesn't participate and plays serious.. Im definitely not trying to make people do random, but I dont think you can claim that you are a fun team, when you wont even give it a try. If it meant that the other team would totally not care and have fun and socialize, we'd forfeit every game.

the main reason that argument broke out when we played the shockers, was the fact that they were playing serious, and appealed a call on our guy touching third. He rounded the base. And yes, while he may have missed it, and totally acted inappropriate and deserved to be out, do we really need to nit pick whether his foot was an inch off the bag? It just sucks when we try to have fun, we get deflated on a dumb call like that.

On a lighter note, did anyone catch Reid sliding into home and stopping 4 feet short?

Chandler said...

1985 Reid would have made it to the plate

Having fun while EVERYONE thinks your "serious".... sounds like the Toejammers lol.

That was a Willy Mays Hayes slide.

"Tactical shifting has always been a part of the game" = why Jammers get a bad rap

Ligers love the beer nuts. The beer nuts love the Ligers. Ligers tied supa. Actually Ligers would've legitimately won if Chandler played a decent game. I swear if q ever saw him play a single Liger game, he'd never wear red again.

I have a lot of arguments for you Frank, however you yelling and screaming at us, arguing calls and playing loud music doesn't make for "fun" for the team you are playing. We have fun most of the time, but when Cathy took out Rachael, not funny. Actually quite rude, and that is where it began. And yea, I'm sick of kickball so I'm glad I'm starting hiatis this week.

Im guilty as charged for all the yelling and arguing calls, but Nate knew i was not serious at all. Plus we were heckling our own team for not throwing strikes.

In our teams defense they are not used to the call "ball" as there pitcher of seasons past only threw strikes.
